PA Wellington Ireland beat New Zealand 52 in a boxing test on Thursday evening. Results were:— Lightweight—C. Hunia (N.Z.) beat B. Catney (Ireland), unanimous points. Light welterweight—M. Sykes (N.Z.) beat B. McClean (Ire.), unanimous points decision. Welterweight—B. O’Hara (Ire.) beat P. Graham (N.Z.), majority points. Light middleweight.—S. Storey (Ire.) beat M. Flavell (N.Z.), retired end of round two. Middleweight.—G. Storey (Ire.) beat P. Rackley (N.Z.), majority® points.
