Inquiries continue
Detectives are following a “fairly good” line of inquiry into the alleged rape of a woman in Victoria Park, Cashmere, on Saturday, according to a C. 1.8. spokesman last evening. The police would still like to hear from anyone who was in the park between 12.30 a.m. and 4.30 a.m. on Saturday, said . Detective Senior-Sergeant Roger Carson.
The woman, aged 19, was taken from a nightclub to the park in a car with three men.
