Miss Clague, her brother, Michael, and her mother, who was born in Tonga, have spent two weeks visiting friends and relatives on the islands after Tania’s crowning in Christchurch on April 12. Miss Ciague’s father, the late Mr Brian Clague, formerly of England, worked in Tonga in the 1960s before he and his family moved to Auckland. Miss Clague is taking a university course in psychology and is also interested in creative dancing. She will represent New Zealand in the “Miss Universe” contest in Canada in July.
