Police appointment
PA Auckland The new regional co-ordi-nator for the C. 1.8. in Auckland and Whangarei is Detective Chief Superintendent I. L. Mills. He succeeds Deputy Assistant Commissioner E. G. Perry, who was recently
promoted to deputy police commander in Auckland. Mr Mills has been the Auckland Central area controller since January last year. He joined the department in 1955 and has served previously in Wellington, Lower Hutt, and Palmerston North.
