Socred candidate
Social Credit has named its candidate to contest the Lyttelton seat in this year’s General Election.
Mr Michael Bruce, the party’s candidate in the electorate in 1981, will stand again. He is unmarried, aged 24, and a shop steward at the Christchurch factory of Toyota New Zealand, Ltd.
He joined Social Credit in 1978 and is also a member of Jaycees and the Tug Lyttelton Preservation Society.
