Like father, like son
The Deputy Leader of the Opposition, Mr Palmer, and his wife, Margaret with their son, Matthew, who graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
the Christchurch Town Hall yesterday. Matthew majored in economics and political science, and is now studying for a law degree at Victoria University. Mr Palmer also donned
cap and gown for the ceremony, as he was part of the official academic party. His colours represent a Doctorate of Law, which he completed in 1967 at the University of Chicago.
