Ok s® Constituted 1913 RICCARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL SPECIAL ORDER RAISING OF ELECTRICITY MODERNISATION LOAN NO. 51984 - $1,275,000 NOTICE Is hereby given that at a meeting of the Rlccarton Borough Council held on April 30, 1984, the following resolution was passed: “That the Rlccarton Borough Council hereby resolves, pursuant to the powers contained In Section 520 of the Local Government Act 1974 and Section 24 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, to raise a loan of $1,275,000 to be known as the Electricity Modernisation Loan No. 5 1984, for the purposes of continuing the Council’s electricity capital works programme, Including reinforcement and underground conversion of the electricity distribution system, the said loan to be raised for a maximum of 12 years and In accordance with the determinations given In the sanction of the Local Authorities Loans Board dated March 20,1984. Pursuant to Section 47 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, it is hereby resolved that security for the said loan shall be a special rate of such amount each year upon the rateable value of all rateable property In the Borough of Rlccarton as Is sufficient to provide In that year for the payment of the annual charges in respect of the said loan, plus 10 per cent thereof until the loan Is paid off.
