Fillies’ final announced

A field of 10, including six from the South Island and four from the North Island, has been selected for the $lOO,OOO Image International New Zealand Sires’ Stakes Final, to be run at Alexandra Park on May 26. Four emergencies' were also chosen and their reentry order was decided by ballot, according to the chairman of the Sires Stakes Board, Mr Tony Abell, of Rangiora. Nardinski, the third emergency, still has a chance of making the field if an appeal against his disqualification from second at Timaru last month is upheld at a hearing later this month.
