Woolston lead soccer table
Woolston Foundry A gained a clear lead in the first division of the Countrywide Sunday Soccer League when it beat its closest rival, Mastagard A, 5-1, in the third round yesterday. In division two, Dux ’ de Lux had two players booked for dissent against Pharoahs and another player, Darryl Calcott, suffered a broken cheekbone. Woolston Foundry B leads division three and Dux de Lux B leads the fourth division. In that division, the Music Machine B goalkeeper, Stu Proctor, was admitted to hospital with broken ribs.
