Wool increase hearing
PA Wellington The Woolbrokers’ Association has applied to the Commerce Commission for a price rise of 51c a bale on the delivery charge for wool in the North Island. But the applicatidu by the association, on behalf of
some of its members, has run into opposition from the Examiner of Commercial Practices, the Wool Board and Federated Farmers. The commission has announced a hearing on the issue at its offices in Wellington on June 6.
