Railways
Initial reaction to Radio Rhema’s new programme, “Railways and Friends,” had been very encouraging, the programme compiler, Mr Stephen Rice, said yesterday. Instead of four programmes, six were now planned, he said. The next programme, on Saturday at 1.45 p.m., will be about the Weka Pass railway, represented by Mr John McCaskey, and the guest will be a train driver, Mr Grant Windsor, of Christchurch.
