NZPA-AAP Melbourne New Zealand’s Olympic hockey team completely demoralised the Australian Capital Territory with a 6-0 thrashing on the second day of the Invitation Easter Carnival at the State Hockey Centre in Melbourne yesterday. The highlight of the first half was a brilliant indivi-
dual goal by the New Zealand right wing, Peter Daji, at the 15-minute mark. Other goal scorers were Trevor Lawrence from a penalty corner, Geoff Archibald and Brent Miskimmin.
New Zealand continued its domination in the second half with further goals by Daji and Lawrence to run out easy winners.
