Racing and bowls trip
A few vacancies remain on a special racing and bowls trip to Auckland next month, being organised by Air New Zealand.
The trip, which lasts nine days from May 12, includes three nights trotting at Alexandra Park (Rowe Cup carnival), gallqping meeting at Avondale and four nights bowls at different clubs. The cost of $499 covers return air fare, accommodation at the Mon Desir, at Takapuna Beach, bus transfers to all events and admission and members’ tickets to the race meetings, including the Concorde Lounge at Avondale.
