Opossum values
PA Dunedin A total of 82,507 wild opossum furs were offered for sale at the latest fur auction held by Dalgety Crown in Dunedin. The fur manager, Mr S. M. Dyet, said that 75 per cent of the furs were cleared. The balance consisted of late-winter, spring, and earlysummer types. Bidding was animated on furrier types, but somewhat restricted on lining types. Prices for furrier types were comparable with the February auction and lining types were up to 6 per cent cheaper.
