Public Notices CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1981 NOTICE is hereby given that under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981 the CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD proposes to take the lands described In the Schedule herto for the purpose of laying drain pipes as part of its drainage work In the general area of the land. The land was originally and Is currently used as a drain and such a drain Is essential tn the area. The registered owner of the land has long since abanoned it and accordingly negotiations for further drainage works proposed are impossible. It is consequently essential for the land to be taken. NOTICE Is hereby further given that all persons wishing to object to the taking of the abovementioned land may do so by written notice of their objection sent to the REglstrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private bag, Post Centre, Wellington within twenty (20) working days after the publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
