Golf win to Lincoln
Lincoln had a good win on its home course against Burnham in the second round of the Central Canterbury inter-club golf competition. Results were:— Burnham 2Vi, Lincoln SV, G. Vercoe lost to P. Terrace, 2 down; R. Hill lost to P. Clarkson, 5 and 4; H. Weatherhead halved with W. Eruera; D. Kirton halved with G. Sutherland; G. Pokoina beat A. Carver, 2 and 1; D. Gibbons lost to A. Barkle, 1 down; J. Nicol halved with D. Darch; A. McOscar lost to A. R. Wethey, 2 and 1. Charteris Bay 3%, Richmond Hill 4V, N. McGillivray beat M. Morgan, 2 up; L. J. Davis beat G.
