S. Biolab purchase
The medical product division of Smith Biolab, Ltd, has bought the Auckland company, Lacklands Surgical Ltd, for an undisclosed cash price. Smith-Biolab says Lacklands is a specialty medical marketing house with particular skills in cardiac and vascular prosthesis and respiratory care products which would merge well with its own interests. Lacklands, with an office at Epsom, will move to the Smith-Biolab head office in Northcote.
