Surgery for Mr Gair
PA Auckland . The Minister of Transport, Mr Gair, was recovering in North Shore Hospital last evening after five hours of surgery to remove a bowel tumor. The hospital's medical superintendent, Dr John Kay, said that there had been no complications.
