N.Z.R.F.U. meeting
PA Wellington The prospect of professional rugby should never be taken lightly, warned the chairman of the N.Z.R.F.U., Ces Blazey. He said he would mention professional rugby only briefly: “It should be mentioned, but it will be brief.” He said he had the great-
est difficulty keeping up with what was happening — “and I’m sure you are too. As far as I am concerned, we should never take the matter lightly, but we will have to wait and see if we get some facts instead of statements.” There was no discussion on Mr Blazey’s comments.
