Our Flight has splint
Special correspondent Palmerston North Jim Rusher, the former owner of Our Flight, said at the Awapuni track yesterday morning that the’ mare had developed a splint in the United States. It is to be removed and Our Flight is unlikely to race until August. The former Takanini star, Pride Of Rosewood, has recently finished second in two group 1 races. She is engaged today in a $200,000 race in America.
