Soccer star in series
NZPA-AAP London The English soccer star, Kenny Dalglish, will star in a new television series with the rock star, Elvis Costello, the “Express” reported. The Liverpool dazzler will make his acting debut in “Scully,” a new series by Alan Bleasdale, the creator of the award-winning “Boys from the Black Stuff.” “Scully” is the story of a
17-year-old street urchin who dreams of becoming a Liverpool footballer, but he has one problem — everyone he meets keeps turning into Kenny Dalglish. The series will be shown on Channel 4, which will also screen the Olympic decathlon star, Daley Thompson, in his own series on health and fitness.
