Constable charged
PA Wellington A police constable has been charged in the District" Court at Lower Hutt with dangerous driving. Mark R. Berryman pleaded not guilty and was remanded for a defended hearing on June 12.
The case relates to an incident oh February 18 in which a police patrol car was damaged when it slewed into a power pole near an intersection in Lower Hutt. Neither constable in the car was injured.
