Suburban leader 15 points clear
Rain prevented the completion of round 10 in the Suburban senior A cricket competition at the weekend. Christchurch W.M.C. will start the final round on Saturday with a comfortable 15-point lead over its nearest rivals, Southern Districts and Woolston W.M.C., which each have 47 points. Points are: Christchurch W.M.C. 62, Southern Districts
and Woolston W.M.C. 47, Sumner 44, Upper Riccarton 39, Merivale-Papanui 37, Boon Hay and Belfast 23. Points in the Senior A grade for the Dominion Breweries award are:
Upper Riccarton (28.5) 260, Christchurch W.M.C. (28) 259, Woolston W.M.C. (29) 256.5, Belfast (26.5) 253.5,-Sumner (30) 252.5, Merivale-Papanui (28) 249, Hoon Hay (30) 244.5.
