Kangas win Aust. rules
Kangas had little trouble in easily beating Avon in the third Australian rules match of the season played at Ouruhia Park, Marshland, yesterday. The strong southerly wind, which blew directly down-field, affected both teams, but after the first quarter Kangas took control. If it had not been for some woeful kicking from the Kangas side, the winning margin would have been even greater. Scores: Kangas 20 goals, 37 behinds, 157 points; Avon 7 goals, 9 behinds, 51 points.
