Auckland Regional Authority SUPERINTENDENT ELECTRICAL ARD MECHANICAL AUCKLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED for the position of Superintendent, Electrical and Mechanical at Auckland International Airport, where The Authority Is responsible for all maintenance and operations employing a staff of 188. It is the largest Airport in New Zealand and has assets valued at $177 million and an annual operating budget of $l6 million. The Authority Is responsible for the provision and maintenance of reading, street lighting, water supply, drainage, power and gas at the Airport. In addition It owns and maintains some 30 buildings and operates some 50 vehicles and plant. It operates a rubbish collection system incineration plant. The Superintendent Is responsible for the management and direction of staff In the effective and economic maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment. A sound knowledge and experience in maintenance of 11KV underground power reticulation Is required and some knowledge of the maintenance of heating and ventilating equipment Is desirable.
