A new position has become available in our Engineering Construction Department for a Project Planning Engineer. JOB DESCRIPTION Duties involve the development and operation of a project planning system by: —producing precedence networks for the company’s projects and contracts in conjunction with design, construction, materials and production departments -monitoring project progress using planning information produced and phasing resources as required to maintain target completion dates -producing detailed monthly progress reports of project status —producing and maintaining a data bank of estimating and planning information for use on future work —using the Company’s Artemis project planning system QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE We are looking for a senior NZCE engineer or a graduate engineer with a mechanical background and at least five years project experience, Including a minimum of two years in a planning role.
