Assistant alleges assault
A woman assistant in a Hornby shoe shop has told the police she was indecently assaulted by a customer on Wednesday morning. The woman, aged 19, was allegedly assaulted after lhe went to the back of the shop to find the customer another style of shoes.
She said she kicked her assailant in the groin, causing him to fall over backwards. He then fled. The police seek a man, aged about 35, of medium build, and about 173 cm (sft Bin) tall. He had straight, collar-length sandy hair, and was wearing a cream shirt and blue jeans.
