Viggers’ ventures
Paul Viggers, a member of the New Zealand men’s squash team for the world championships in Auckland last year, has two fresh challenges ahead of him.
The most pressing of his assignments is his marriage in Christchurch tomorrow to Carolyn Oakley, a leading Canterbury squash and tennis representative. His second venture involves his future brother-in-law, John Oakley, also a
Canterbury squash representative. Viggers said yesterday that he and Oakley had taken over the running of the Christchurch-based magazine, “New Zealand and World Squash.”
The new co-editors are already putting together their first issue, which will include a player-profile on the colourful former New Zealand representative, Trevor Colyer. It will be out on May 1.
