Youth remanded
At a sitting of the Children and Young Persons Court yesterday a youth charged with aggravated robbery was remanded to the District Court on April 2 for the taking of depositions. The police allege that the youth and two others took a small amount of money, a watch, and a bracelet from another young man during an incident at Sockburn early on Saturday, February 18.
As the charge was indictable, the youth did not plead and Judge Pain remanded him on renewed bail of $lOOO and a surety of $2OOO with the condition that he lives at home with his parents and observes a curfew between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m.
