About 100 pupils from Wairakei Primary School get ready to sing in front of the Stewart Fountain in High Street. The children used cardboard props, made at school, to illustrate their songs. Several schools in Christchurch have been invited to perform in the mall during Festival week. Filming the children is a Television New Zealand cameraman, Mr Paul Mullan. T.V.N.Z. has a public display tent in the mall throughout this week.
