Sound level acceptable
Sound levels recorded at the Kenny Rogers concert at Queen Elizabeth II Park last evening were all within the set limits, said the park manager, Mr Peter Francis. About 18,000 people are estimated to have attended the concert, including noise control officers of the Christchurch City Council. The council’s answering service said there had been no complaint about noise from the concert.
