Jewel heist
A gang of thieves have stolen a widow’s collection of jewellery and gold worth 3H.K.120 million ($23 million) in one of the world’s biggest robberies. The fortune was not insured, the police have said. The widow, who had spent ten years collecting the treasure and storing it in her factory safe, was offering a SH.K.I million reward for recovery of the jewels and gold bars. — Hong Kong.
