Martial arts for women
PA Wellington All women would receive martial arts training to guard against rape as part of the Social Credit Party’s armed neutrality programme, said the party’s spokesman on the police, Mr Neil Morrison.
“The one year’s compula contribution for all, and female, between the ages of 18 and 26, under Social Credit’s defence policy would also include lectures for all men on the mental and physical damage women suffer through being raped,” Mr Morrison said.
“If New Zealand society is to retain any semblance of harmony we will have to move immediately with positive. programmes to heal our festering wounds.”
