Crash victim named
The Christchurch police have named the motorcyclist killed when his machine was struck by a utility vehicle on Yaldhurst Road late on Saturday evening. He was John Bernard Kennedy, aged 37, of Gregory Avenue, Islington. Mr Kennedy was believed to have been sitting on the parked motor-cycle when it was hit by the vehicle.
