Payments by P.P.C.S.
An increase of 10c a kilogram above the South Island meat export schedule will be paid for prime beef and bull beef killed on behalf of the Primary Producers’ Co-opera-tive Society from this week. P.P.C.S. announced yesterday that payments for manufacturing beef will be 5c a kilogram above the schedule. Prime beef killed at the Kokiri works will receive 13c a kilogram higher than the schedule.
