Brierley satisfied
The directors of Brierley Investments, Ltd, advise that their offer for all of the issued capital of the Hawke’s Bay Farmers Coop. Association, Ltd, closed on February 28, and will not be extended. Because of the large number of transactions known to be in process and with brokers it is not possible to accurately determine the final results of the offer, they say, but currently more than 75 per cent of the shareholders, representing 90 per cent of the shares not already held, have accepted the offer.
