Junior hockey teams
Canterbury under 15 and under 16 hockey teams to play in a tournament against Austialian teams, and other New Zealand provicial teams in Auckland in May have been named. The tournament, from May 8 to 15, will include two teams from Sydney and one from Brisbane. The teams are.— Under 16.-G. Steel, J. Marquet, T. Stock, G. Clark, D. Matsis, G. Edlin, G. Fuller, N. Iggo, R. Moore, P. Robins, J. Cherry, C. Sauer, A. CobdenCox. Under 15. — H. McCutcheon, N. Leggat, A. Webb, S. Gomans, D. Mills, A. Hastie, A. Stewart, J. May, S. Connor, P. Mahoney, R. Hartland, C. Orchard, B. Fergus. Mr Colin Nolan will manage the teams, Mr Murray Connor will coach the under 15 side, and Mr Russell Fergus the under 16 side.
