Search to resume for plane
PA Auckland Search and rescue coordinators will meet in Auckland this morning to plan a ground search between Tuakau and Port Waikato for four Wanganui persons missing in a light aircraft. Contact with the Piper Cherokee was lost at 8.57 a.m. on Sunday during a flight from Wanganui to Ardmore. On board the aircraft were the pilot, Miss Heather Armstrong, aged 23, Mr John Lockett, aged 37, Mr David Young, aged 39, and Mr Graeme Pratt, aged 32.
