Police probe car fire
Christchurch detectives are investigating the cause of a fire which damaged the front of a motor-vehicle in York Street, Opawa, just before 11 p.m. on Saturday. A C. 1.8. spokesman said that the vehicle was not extensively damaged as the fire was limited to the area around the car’s grille.
