Vietnam ‘threat’
A Kampuchean resistance leader, Prince Norodom Sihanouk, has disputed a claim by Indonesia’s armed forces commander, General Beeny Moerdani, that Vietnam posed no danger to the region. “The only threat to stability and peace and neutrality in South-East Asia comes from Vietnam, from the fact that they have created a problem in Kampuchea and also in Laos,” Prince Sihanouk said. — Jakarta.
