Discrimination in schools
Sir,—Last year I attended school with a South African exchange student. The only time I heard him talk about South Africa was when prompted, and all he said was that he was not in the position to support or condemn his country’s policies because he had no influence over them. I only hope that nobody is so gullible as to be affected by the spite that Hart has shown to South Africans and especially the innocents who have no choice about what their Government’s policies should be.—Yours, etc.,
T. POLASCHEK. February 1, 1984.
