Miles upon miles of results
NZPA Los Angeles Fifty-six million sheets of results will be distributed during the Los Angeles Olympics, according to a report from the Games organising committee. It has been calculated that if the pages were placed one on top of the other they would reach a
height of 5750 metres (6288 yards) — 15 times the height of the Empire State Building in New York and 19 times higher than the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Placed one after the other in a line the sheets would reach from Los Angeles to New Delhi. 15,552 kilometres (9664 miles).
