Weather forecasts
The national weather forecast broadcast on national radio immediately before Rural Report at 12.30 p.m. on week-days and at the same time on week-ends will change in format from tomorrow.
In future it will consist of a general five-day forecast, similar to that run every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on the back page of “The Press” and called an extended range forecast. The extended range forecast for the whole country by regions will replace the current district forecast.
Another change to be made by the Meteorological Service from tomorrow is that the 4 p.m. national forecast on national radio will move back to 4.55 p.m.
