Massacre call
Nicaragua has called on Honduras to open an investigation into the alleged massacre of 200 Nicaraguan Indians in Honduran territory early this month. The request was made after the Peace and Justice human rights organisation in Buenos Aires issued a statement saying it had received information that about 200 Miskito Indians were killed by a Honduran Army patrol while attempting to return to their homes in Nicaragua on January 6—Managua.
