Osaka women’s marathon
NZPA-Reuter Osaka. Japan Katrin Dorre, of East Germany, won the Osaka women's marathon yesterday in two hours 31 minutes 41 seconds. Japan’s Akemi Masuda was’ second in 2:32:05 and Karolin Szab£ of Hungary, third in
2:35:23. New Zealand’s Allison Roe. winner of the 1981 Boston and New York marathons and the second fastest woman in the marathon, was seventh in 2:38.36. Her best for the event is 2:255.
