PA Wellington The Wellington law firm, Bell Gully and Company is negotiating a merger with an Auckland firm, Buddle Weir and Company. A Bell Gully partner, Mr D. J. Dalgety, confirmed the merger was being discussed but would not answer questions last evening, saying it was a domestic issue. The union would create one of the biggest law practices in New Zealand. Bell Gully has 25 partners and Buddle Weir has 15.
