Heist verdict
Three of four men charged with taking part in the largest cash robbery in United States history have been found guilty, including the lone guard on duty the night SUSII milion ($NZ16.72 million) was stolen. The guard, Christos Potamitis, and his alleged accomplices were found guilty of stealing the money from the Sentry Armoured Car Company in the Bronx on December 12, 1982. The jury heard six weeks of evidence and deliberated for 16 hours. — New York.
