Medical video stolen
PA Auckland A $34,000 medical video system, believed to be one of only three in Auckland, has been stolen from a car in Remuera.
The equipment, including two miniature surgical cameras used to photograph inside the body, was taken from a salesman's car. Detective A. F. C. Bouchier said yesterday that the trade name. Circon, was on the equipment, which included the two cameras, camera cases, a monitor, and a control unit similar to a stereo amplifier. “This equipment is absolutely useless to anybody else," he said.
