Tribunal calls TV talks
PA Wellington The Broadcasting Tribunal will meet private companies next week to determine procedures for hearings on whether a private television channel should be set up. The meeting, which will be held on Thursday in
Auckland, will be followed by an announcement on submission deadlines. The tribunal plans to consider such matters as regional boundaries, method of networking, and the provision of a national news service.
