The University of the South Pacific SENIOR LECTURER/ READER IN LAND MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME POST 83/96 THE applicant should hold a degree In Land Management or Land Economy and should be professionally qualified (A.R.I.C.S. or equivalent) with appropriate teaching experience in this field. A relevant post graduate qualification would be an advantage. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience in the Senior Lecturer scale $F15,749-18,487 or Reader range: $F19,382-21,058. In addition the University provides gratuity amounting to 15 per cent of basic salary, appointment allowance and, subject to the University’s current housing policy, partly furnished accommodation at a rental of per cent of salary. The University will pay an allowance in lieu of superannuation of 10 per cent of standard salary. UNIVERSITY OF OTAGO DUNEDIN CHAIR OF MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS are invited for the Chair of Management within the Faculty of Commerce. The Department is concerned with undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and research in General Management, Business Policy, Personnel Management, Training and Development, Industrial Relations, Organisational Behaviour, and Production Management. Candidates should have sufficient knowledge, ability and practical experience in these areas to provide leadership to staff members and to contribute to courses particularly in one or more of the areas of Manpower and Organisation, General Management, and Business Policy. The Department also contributes to courses for the Master of Business Administration degree and is active in postexperience teaching, so that experience in teaching and course development in these areas is desirable. Candidates should have appropriate academic and professional qualifications and managerial/ research experience. Ability to develop and maintain close links with business and industry, training boards, and local government is an important requirement of the post.
